DEADLINE: Australia–Vietnam Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation Initiative Grants

Applications are now open for the Australia–Vietnam Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation Initiative Grants.

This bilateral program supports collaborative research projects between eligible Australian organisations and Vietnamese partner organisations.

The program provides up to A$1.3 million in total funding, with grants of between A$100,000 and A$300,000 available for projects running from 24 to 36 months. Funding supports the Australian component of collaborative projects involving universities, research institutions, businesses and industry partners.

Projects must align with one of three priority areas:

  • new and renewable technologies
  • a sustainable blue economy
  • recycling and waste management.

DEADLINE: Innovate to Grow – One Health: Digital, Biosecurity & MedTech

This program is open to eligible SMEs based and operating in Australia, working on innovative technologies or solutions in any of these sub-sectors:

Biosecurity: people and animal health | Biosecurity: plant and environment health | Animal disease diagnostics | Biotherapeutics: biomedical manufacturing and medical devices | Developing and delivering complex therapeutics | Digital and AI solutions for healthcare | Supportive equipment including robotics | Other ideas related to the program sector.

The program will assist you in:

Refining your innovation idea and learning how to transform it into an R&D opportunity. | Accessing tools and information for a comprehensive understanding of R&D collaboration and key considerations at each step. | Applying this knowledge to advance your technology or R&D concept. | Gaining industry insights from experts, researchers and your R&D coach. | Collaborating with like-minded SMEs and expanding your professional network.

DEADLINE: Bloom Launchpad Program

Launchpad is a 12-week program that lets you develop a business idea and get academic credit towards your university degree.

Launchpad provides students with an academic structure that encourages and supports entrepreneurial activity. Accepted students are provided access to Bloom’s co-working space, allowing them to interact with members with small businesses and start-ups. Students also have the opportunity to pitch their business idea to investors and the public at end of the semester. Students are encouraged to continue their start-ups after the unit concludes.

Applications are now open for Singapore’s premier deep tech startup competition SLINGSHOT 2026, now in its landmark 10th edition.
