The State of Startup Capital in WA: in a state awash with money, why is “access to capital” still not solved?

Western Australia has no shortage of wealth, yet startups make up a tiny proportion of their investment portfolios (about 0.4%). Do they need educating on ESIC? Furthermore, WA startups attract very little Australian venture capital. Around 2%.

Our next StartupWA Roundtable brings founders, investors and ecosystem builders together to work out why, and what we can actually change.
