DEADLINE: MRIWA Principal Project Officer

This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to Western Australia’s clean energy and emissions reduction research and innovation agenda, supporting development of MRIWA’s strategic priorities and translating them into action through delivery of high-impact collaborative programs, projects and initiatives.

As Principal Project Officer, you will lead the planning, development and delivery of strategic activities relating to clean energy and emissions reduction. Working with a high level of initiative, you will scope and manage a range of programs, projects and initiatives that deliver on MRIWA’s research priorities in clean energy and emissions reduction.

You will collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to identify, investigate, monitor and review current and emerging trends, developments, research and innovation issues, legislation and policies relating to clean energy and emissions reduction. You will initiate strategic advice and evidence-based recommendations, coordinate collaboration across government, industry and the research sector, and manage project governance, risk and reporting requirements.

The role is suited to someone who can think strategically and conceptually, confidently interpret complex or technical proposals and engage with relevant subject matter experts, engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and apply sound project management principles to deliver results.
