Grain Automate: Paving the way for on-farm autonomy

Paving the way for on-farm autonomy through digital change management

This online event is part of Grain Automate, a Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) initiative on behalf of Australian grain growers aimed at accelerating the adoption of machine automation, autonomy and digital technologies in the Australian grains industry.

The webinar will address three broad perspectives across on-farm autonomy: the learning or background, the growers, and industry.

Our keynote speaker is Emma Leonard from AgriKnowHow. Emma will discuss key areas to address the path from manual processes to on-farm autonomy, automation versus autonomu, adoption versus change management and how to take a planned approach to autonomy.

Tom Longmire, a grower from Esperance WA will share his on-farm experiences with automation, what’s worked and what hasn’t, what they’ve learned and ‘where to from here’.

Representatives from John Deere, CNH and SwarmFarm will discuss their change management models and practical applications for growers.
