Global projections for economic growth in 2022 have been slashed since December 2021\, as countries grapple with fresh supply shocks in energy and commodities following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. \nDuring a recent visit to Israel\, Mr Cormann praised Israel’s economic growth over the past few decades as a result of structural reforms and effective macro-economic management as Israel positions to increase its European trade.
