And\, have fun doing it. \nI am super excited because our next event on Friday\, 5 May 2023 is a Celebrate Your Success and so we will have 5 incredible Guest Speakers. \nOur first Guest Speaker is Holly Allday who is the Director of ILLUMINE OPS\, helping resource industry leaders implement practical operational and leadership strategies for optimal performance. \nWith over 15 years of hands-on mining experience in operational management roles and a background in mining engineering\, Holly has forged a varied career overseeing project delivery for multiple organisations spanning both underground and open pit mining operations\, as well as leadership advisory roles. \nHer joyful and celebratory demeanour reflects her belief in creating a lasting legacy within the resource industry through strategic thinking\, finding win-win solutions\, and inspiring others to embrace their purpose and shine their own light. \nOur second Guest Speaker is Sam Allen-Rowlandson who is currently OD Manager for Roy Hill. \nSam has a 20+ year career in the Learning/Organisational Development arena predominantly in the global resource industry working for Roy Hill\, BP\, PTTEP\, Clough and Subsea 7. \nSam is a transformational leader\, coach\, and mentor with a passion for supporting others to unleash their potential. Sam has experience in implementing learning\, cultural/behavioural change\, diversity\, equity and inclusion\, talent and succession initiatives. Sam has a strong focus on driving continuous improvement\, collaboration and building high performing teams. \nOur third Guest Speaker is Andrew Haythorpe who is is the Chairman of Allup Silica\, CEO of ECR Minerals PLC and an NED of Tempest Minerals. \nAndrew has over 30 years of experience in the resources and investments – a geologist with CRA\, a Mining Analyst with Suncorp\, County Natwest and Hartleys\, and a fund Manager with Bankers Trust\, which grew to manage over $40billion. Andrew was a top 12 rated 2 Gold Analyst and considered a global leader in mineral sands analysis. \nAndrew has raised over $200m in junior companies\, building Crescent Gold from an $8m explorer to a $250m gold producer and lead Michelago Resources to become a Chinese gold producer – creating the top performing ASX listed company that year. \nOur fourth Guest Speaker is Vanessa Fettucia who is the HR & Finance Manager and Procurement Specialist at Midland Cement Materials. \nOver a 15-year career in the construction industry\, Vanessa has developed a diverse skillset from HR & finance functions\, management oversight for operations and procurement specialist in commercial steel industry.
