Please register as places are limited \nDate: Tuesday 25 June 2024 \nTime: Registration: 5:45 pm – 6:15 pm (Doors open @ 6 pm) \nEvent: 6:15 pm – 8:00 pm \nNetworking Reception: 8:00 pm – 8:45 pm \nLocation: The University Club of Western Australia – Hackett Entrance #1\, Hackett Drive\, Crawley. \nThis is a free event so registration is essential by Friday 21 June for catering purposes.

SUMMARY:FEnEx CRC Decarbonising energy exports: progress and prospects
DESCRIPTION:Join us for two full days of content\, knowledge-sharing and fun as we review and explore the technology and ideas emerging to support Australia’s efforts to remain competitive in energy exports. \nThe theme this year is centred around progress and future prospects – because both as a nation and a CRC we have made progress and its important to reflect on the successes and lessons learned. As the pathways towards cleaner models of operating become evident\, it’s important that FEnEx CRC’s research focus be updated accordingly. \nAlong with some of Australia’s most forward-thinking technologists\, academics and advocates\, we are coming together to discuss how we plan to decarbonise some of our hard to abate industries whilst maintaining our highly-effective economic industries. \nConference Program \nThe conference program will feature a range of speakers presenting on the latest research\, ideas\, and project developments that support the challenge of energy decarbonisation in the transition to a cleaner world. The program offers the opportunity to learn about the latest policy initiatives\, technological advances and societal shifts that are shaping the energy transition landscape. \nPoster Forum \nThe project poster forum is an opportunity for attendees to explore the cutting-edge research projects being undertaken within the FEnEx CRC. The posters offer a chance for researchers to showcase their work and engage with fellow attendees in informal conversations. This year in response to previous requests\, there will be a dedicated poster session with refreshments at the end of day 1. Additional engagement will be available during conference breaks.
