SUMMARY:Sundowner Event 2023: Going Off Grid
DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with India Energy Storage Alliance\, WA’s Department of Jobs\, Tourism\, Science and Innovation and Innovate Australia\, the Australia Microgrid Centre of Excellence is hosting a “sundowner” event to occur 29-March from 4pm-6pm. \nThe main topic is “Going Off Grid”\, in which microgrids can support sustainability\, reliable and cost-effective energy management within a geographic footprint. “If you can fence it – you can microgrid it.” This event will present how coastal and regional energy management systems can isolate from the traditional power grid while maintaining stable energy supply. AMCOE is the first of several regional smart energy centers to be proposed by government and industry and will help create the technologies\, jobs and skilled workforce that will renew this nation’s economy.
