DESCRIPTION:The Albany Regional Business Engagement Forum is an exciting opportunity for local businesses to hear about upcoming local work opportunities\, incentives to engage new staff and a number of available grant funding and financial initiatives to support your business. \nHosted by the Department of Jobs\, Tourism\, Science and Innovation (JTSI)\, the Albany Regional Business Engagement Forum is designed for WA small and medium-sized enterprises across all sectors\, operating in the Great Southern region. \nYou will hear about a variety of Government funding available to SMEs\, including grants and incentives available to support businesses improve their capability and bring on apprentices and trainees. There will also be an overview of upcoming work opportunities in Albany and the Great Southern. \nThere will also be the opportunity to meet procurement officers from a range of Government agencies\, as well as the region’s Local Content Advisor and industry groups\, who can help link your business to relevant support\, work and programs. \nPresenters include: \n\nJTSI presenting on government policy and initiatives to assist businesses and funding available through grant rounds;\nThe Department of Training and Workforce Development covering an overview of the WA labour market and exploring financial incentives for employing apprentices and trainees; and\nA multiagency overview of Government contract opportunities and work packages expected in the region over the next 12-24 months.
