DESCRIPTION:Join YEP Perth for a presentation and a discussion on building WA’s EV Network\, the challenges faced and discuss the future of EVs \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors open from 5.30pm for a 6.00pm start. Your ticket includes drinks\, pizza and an opportunity to learn and network. \nAbout this topic: \nSynergy and Horizon Power are working with the State Government to create Australia’s longest Electric Vehicle (EV) charging network (the WA EV Network). \nOnce completed\, EV drivers will have access to 98 EV charging stations across 49 locations\, from Eucla at the South Australian border to Kununurra in the far north of Western Australia. \nWith increased EV uptake in Western Australia\, this introduces challenges to the power network not previously seen. \nAbout this event: \nThis event will present on topics such as operational experiences of the early stages of the EV charging network\, the status of V2G’s and the future of the EV Charging Network in WA. \nPresenting will be: \n\nDan Healy\, EV Project Manager\, Horizon Power\nGuy McHugh\, EV Project Manager\, Synergy\n\nAbout YEP Perth: \nYEP is a sub-group of the Perth branch of the Australian Institute of Energy. We are a knowledge sharing and networking group tailored to the interests of younger members of the energy industry but we welcome members of all ages and all parts of the energy and associated industries including students.
