METS Space Cluster: Webinar

With the space industry forecast to grow to $1.8 Trillion by 2035, now is the time to build the collective METS and Space ecosystem to accelerate Australia’s advancement in space.

The Space and the Resources sectors share a number of similarities including harsh, remote operating environments, high capital intensity and the use of cutting-edge technologies. What many people do not realise is that Space and Resources have a natural fit, with many opportunities for technology transfer between the sectors.

Join on Tuesday 29 July to gain insights into cutting-edge testing opportunities for advanced technologies at the Australian Automation and Robotics Precinct (AARP), and to explore the evolving landscape of intellectual property rights in the context of space innovation.

The Cluster is an opportunity to connect with industry professionals from both the METS and Space industries, sharing knowledge and opportunities.

  • Presenter: Renu Kannu, Program Manager, Australian Automation and Robotics Precinct (AARP)
  • Presenter: Davin Mai, Patent Technical Specialist, Wrays

METS Space Cluster

Austmine, in partnership with AROSE, launched the METS Space Cluster in December 2024. The Cluster is a new initiative for Members interested in exploring the dynamic opportunities that bridge the space and resources sectors.
