Regional Innovation Summit

The 2026 Regional Innovation Summit is bigger, bolder, and more immersive than ever.

The 2026 Summit will take place on Friday 13 March and will once again deliver a powerful experience connecting investors, innovators, industry leaders, and government stakeholders with the people and ideas shaping the future of regional innovation.
Hosted at the historic Caves House in one of WA’s most breathtaking coastal destinations Yallingup, this year’s Summit is newly designed as a roundtable-style gathering, bringing together regional and national changemakers for an interactive day of keynotes, panels, networking, and startup pitches.

Keynote Speaker – Tim Jarvis AM

Webinar: Building the Future Blue Economy Workforce

This webinar explores how the Blue Economy CRC is preparing the next generation of researchers for a rapidly changing, technology-driven world. It draws on findings from the Graduate Attributes Project—a multi-year study examining how CRC-affiliated PhD students are developing the skills, mindsets, and adaptability required for success across academia and industry.

The session will highlight how graduate attributes such as creativity, collaboration, resilience, and systems thinking are cultivated through CRC research training that connects academia, industry, and community. It aims to spark conversation on how we can further strengthen employability and professional capability among CRC PhD candidates.
