Validate your idea, gain early traction and learn to pitch your startup

Launch Club will help you move faster than you ever thought was possible. From Day 1, you’ll be driven by customer obsession, surrounded by mentors and have access to resources every founder dreams of. It gives you the momentum, connections, and guidance you need to turn a problem into a business solution with serious potential – and fast.

Open to anyone wanting to start a startup in ANZ. Mandatory program sessions are virtual, with a number of in-person events based in Melbourne / Sydney.

DEADLINE: WIPO Global Awards 2026

Awarding innovative and creative companies that turn Intellectual Property (IP) into economic and societal value.
These awards celebrate and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups that use IP to grow their business and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Winners receive a personalized mentorship and exclusive support to facilitate their access to funding and business opportunities.

DEADLINE: Blackbird Foundry Program

Foundry is Blackbird’s launchpad for ambitious researchers who want to test a science-led startup idea and level up fast.

Program cost: Free.

Time commitment: 8 weeks, minimum 4 hour weekly commitment.

Cohort size: 10 teams per cohort.

Location: Hybrid (online + in-person sessions in Australia).

Funding: $1k non-dilutive per team. We take no equity.

Prize Money: $5k final prize for the winning pitc

CTV Community of Interest Networking Event

You’re Invited to the Communities of Interest (COI) meet up for Creative & Tech Innovation bodies and groups as part of the Meshpoints programs.

Each group is open to pitch for 5 minutes for their 2026 programs and beyond. We’ll form a networking session at the Backlot Cinema from 4-6 pm on 29th January 2026.

The COI comprises representatives from industry bodies and agencies across the Creative and tech sectors, to identify areas of collaboration for projects and partnerships.

This is limited to 50 people to attend, as capacity is limited.
