Meshpoints Town Hall: Navigating the Year Ahead

Our first Meshpoints Town Hall for 2025 is a chance to reconnect, collaborate, and set the plan for the year. Together, we’ll unpack what’s on the horizon for 2025 for WA innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, followed by networking drinks.

This event is open to all contributors to the WA innovation ecosystem, both existing Partners as well those that have not yet joined Meshpoints. Participants who cannot attend in person are encouraged to enjoy the livestream of the event!

During the Townhall we’ll:

  • 🗓️ Learn about the schedule of Meshpoints milestones for 2025, including assessment rounds, the WA Innovation Leaders Congress and Communities of Interest
  • 🚀 Have a chance to share your goals for the year, and announce any upcoming programs for your organisation
  • ⭐️ Hear from Charlie Gunningham about his new role as Head of Ecosystem Engagement
  • 🔎 Learn about our upcoming Impact Evaluation and research into the changes in the innovation ecosystem
  • ✌️ Network over drinks and canapés at the amazing Lawson Flats venue

Investing in Startups – What, How, Why (Online Workshop)

Investing in startups (angel investing) is how you get in on the ground floor of companies that have potential to do BIG things. Disruptive Australian companies like Canva and Linktree both started out with angel investment.

This event will cover:

  • What angel investing is
  • How investing in startups works
  • How you can get involved

Join us online where you’ll learn about this interesting investment sector and hear personal stories from experienced investors on how they got into startup investing, their experiences, and how they think about it.

Freo Founders Sundowner

This is a catchup for startup and tech founders who are keen to shoot the breeze with other founders whilst enjoying a drink and taking in the ambience of Fremantle. This month, we are meeting at Strange Company – Fremantle.

This is a casual event with no agenda but with a mission to inspire and help founders grow their businesses by sharing successes, failures and a few laughs.

The group is open to startup founders and founders who have been there and done that, as well as those just starting out and looking for a group to learn from and vent with.

Spacecubed Breakfast Club, February 2025

Join us for our first community event of the year, Spacecubed Breakfast Club, on Tuesday, February 11th at FLUX, powered by Spacecubed. This special morning gathering is the perfect way to shake off the holiday haze, reconnect with familiar faces, and meet some of the newest members of our vibrant community.
