Welcome to the Sustainability Open Innovation Challenge 7th Edition!
The global momentum for sustainability continues to grow, bringing new opportunities for innovation and collaboration.

Now in its seventh year, the Sustainability Open Innovation Challenge (SOIC) by Enterprise Singapore invites startups and innovators from around the world to partner with leading corporates in developing practical, scalable solutions for a more sustainable future.

This year’s challenge explores key themes including Renewable Energy, Offshore Wind, Greener Industries, Sustainable Agrifood, and Sustainable Materials. Each theme reflects pressing industry priorities and presents opportunities for innovators to pilot and scale transformative solutions in collaboration with leading corporate partners. Each challenge statement also highlights the potential sustainability impact that can be achieved through a successful solution.

DEADLINE: Project Manager – GreenTech Hub

Join GreenTech Hub, a flagship initiative accelerating Western Australia’s transition to a low-carbon, sustainable economy. They are looking for a purpose-driven Project Manager to deliver high-impact innovation challenges, coordinate capacity-building programs, and work with industry, startups, government and researchers to turn bold ideas into real-world outcomes.

Mobilising WA’s GreenTech Ecosystem: Meet the WA GreenTech Hub

Hear from the recently launched Western Australian GreenTech Hub, about their mission to support green entrepreneurship and innovation in WA. The Hub hosts innovation challenges to help solve WA’s most pressing sustainability issues. These challenges see participants develop solutions that align directly to the needs of industry and communities, whilst accelerating their own enterprises.

Learn about their first challenge, focused on long duration energy storage to meet WA’s unique energy needs, and potential future challenges. Come meet the team and other like-minded green entrepreneurs seeking to make a positive impact in WA, and across the globe.

Energy and Mining Collaboration Speed-Networking May 2026

The event features both structured speed-networking (each person should meet 50+ people across the energy and mining industry over the evening) and unstructured free-flowing networking.

With topics, trends and issues relevant to the many different groups in the region, the Professional Networking Institute (PNI) is partnering with other industry associations across the Energy and Mining industries.

DEADLINE: Clean Energy Future Fund Round 4

The WA Government’s Clean Energy Future Fund (CEFF) Round 4 is open for applications until Monday 20 April 2026. A total of $9 million is available for this funding round. Grants can cover up to 25 per cent of eligible project costs and range from $100,000 to $4 million. Full details are on the CEFF website.

CEFF round 4 – Completing the financial model

This webinar will explain the financial model template for potential applicants. All applicants are required to complete the financial model for their proposal. The first 30 minutes is for the presentation, and an additional 30 minutes is available to answer questions. It is strongly recommended that potential applicants attend this webinar.

Clean Energy Future Fund Round 4 – About the grant

There will be 30 minutes of presentation of the CEFF requirements and eligibility and merit criteria. After that a further 30 minutes is available to answer questions. If you are thinking of applying, you will likely find it useful.

FMA Innovation Fund: Low Carbon Liquid Fuels Webinar

This webinar will introduce the Low Carbon Liquid Fuels priority area of the Program, which supports the acceleration of commercial scale domestic production, pre-commercial technology demonstration and feedstock and supply chain enablement.

Join for an overview of the program, and details of objectives, scope, eligibility, and the application process.

Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the Program during the Q&A session.
