GreenTech Hub Summer Sundowner

Since its launch in August 2025, the WA GreenTech Hub has been driving innovation, building connections and supporting the transition to a cleaner, more sustainable future for Western Australia.

Now, let’s take some time to celebrate! Come and join us on Wednesday 25 February from 4 to 7 PM for a relaxed late-afternoon sundowner where we’ll celebrate our achievements, share what’s next in energy transitions and bring together stakeholders, industry partners and the wider community, while enjoying drinks, light refreshments and lively conversations in a welcoming and informal setting.

Don’t miss out, this is your chance to connect, reflect and imagine the future together!

We’re looking forward to having you there!

Global Resources Innovation Expo (GRX26)

At GRX26, mining operators, METS innovators, engineers and constructors, processing and logistics specialists, government, research institutions, and global partners come together to share what’s working, challenge what isn’t, and commit to the collaborations that will shape our sector’s future.

This isn’t just where Australia’s resources advantage is discussed—it’s where it’s activated.

Smart Systems Engineering for Sustainable Networks

In recognition of World Engineering Day (WED) 2026, join us in celebrating Smart Engineering for a Sustainable Future Through Innovation and Digitalisation.

This panel discussion explores how smart systems, AI, and real-time data are being applied across transport, energy, water, and built assets to create sustainable, resilient, and high-performing infrastructure networks. The session brings together leading experts in systems engineering, digital advisory, and complex infrastructure integration to share practical insights, emerging digital practices, and lessons learned from real-world applications.

The discussion will highlight:

  • how systems engineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) underpin smart, resilient infrastructure
  • the role of digital intelligence, AI, and real-time data in optimising asset performance and sustainability
  • socio-technical considerations, organisational barriers, and governance challenges in digital transformation
  • practical approaches for embedding emerging digital engineering practices into legacy systems

Brew Hub and Connect at the AARP

BrewHub and Connect & Autonomo Training Academy Launch – Feb 25

Celebrating the official launch of the Autônomo Training Academy at the AARP, adding another milestone to the precinct and further strengthening the community.

This morning tea style event is a fantastic opportunity to meet and connect with current AARP Users, key stakeholders and the broader robotics and innovation ecosystem.

Innovative engineering in practice across health and energy

This full-day event showcases how innovative engineering is being applied across diverse sectors, from healthcare and advanced manufacturing to energy infrastructure.

The morning sessions focus on bioengineering, highlighting the critical role biomedical and clinical engineers play in patient care within Western Australia’s public health system. Through real-world case studies, presenters will demonstrate how advanced design, analysis and rehabilitation technologies are improving clinical outcomes, supporting surgeons and care teams, and enabling patients with complex needs to return meaningfully to the community.

By attending this presentation, attendees will:

  • understand how bioengineering and rehabilitation technologies are applied in clinical environments to improve patient care and outcomes
  • recognise the role of additive manufacturing as a complementary tool in modern manufacturing, enabling new design and production opportunities
  • gain insight into transmission line planning and infrastructure developments required to support increasing renewable energy penetration in Western Australia
  • appreciate how technological advances have transformed anaesthesia practice, highlighting the intersection of engineering, physics and healthcare.

World Renewable Energy Congress (WREC): 2030 Horizon

The World Renewable Energy Congress (WREC) in Western Australia has been a premier energy event since 1999, uniting industries, researchers, and policymakers. It is a major recognised forum for networking between these sectors. Hosted by Murdoch University, WREC fosters global collaboration on innovations and strategies for a zero-carbon future by 2030.

WREC offers a welcome reception, a Swan River gala dinner, and exclusive networking events. Attendees can join free field visits, technical tours, and expert-led instructional forums. This landmark event continues to drive impactful dialogue in renewable energy advancements.

The conference gives delegates the opportunity to either register physically attend or attend online. If a delegate registers to attend Perth and changes his/her mind and wishes to attend remotely then a refund, less a nominal fee, will be given. Conversely an online registration can be upgraded to a personal attendance.

Pre-COP31 Leaders Summit: Climate, Energy & Security
