DESCRIPTION:Introducing The Health Translation Group Limited (HTG)\nThis is a new not-for-profit charitable initiative is enabled by the founding support of three\nleading Western Australian medical research institutes: Harry Perkins Institute of Medical\nResearch\, Lions Eye Institute and the Perron Institute. \nThe presentation on the HTG will be led by Liddy McCall and James Williams.\nLiddy and James bring a combined 50 years at the interface between commercialisation of\nuniversity and Medical Research Institute intellectual property with successful outcomes\nresulting in regulatory approvals and launch of multiple drugs and medical devices from WA\nresearch. \nThe HTG initiative will bring an experienced\, collaborative\, scalable\, open ended and\ncoordinated approach to improving the translation of WA originated medical research\ndiscoveries. \nHTG looks forward to further engaging with the Western Australian and national community\nas it progresses the project which will benefit current and future participating health research\norganisations through their beneficial ownership of the venture.
