DESCRIPTION:Keynote Speaker: Michelle Carey\, Chief\, Digital and Orebody Knowledge | IMDEX\nWith over 25 years’ experience in the mining industry\, Michelle Carey brings deep domain expertise in geoscience and mining technology to her role as Chief Digital and Orebody Knowledge Officer at IMDEX. Her career spans more than a decade in technical and management roles at tier-one mining companies\, followed by 15 years driving innovation in mining technology. \nAt IMDEX\, Michelle leads the company’s digital transformation strategy and the newly formed Digital Business Unit\, which focuses on software development\, data science\, and AI integration. She is responsible for progressing IMDEX’s technology roadmap\, positioning the company at the forefront of real-time decision-making and data-driven innovation in mining. \nMichelle holds a PhD in Geochemistry from Monash University. She is a member of the INSEAD Alumni Association and is a member of the Investment Committee for RFC Ambrian’s Decarbonisation Technology Fund.
