SUMMARY:National Regional and Economic Development Summit 2024
DESCRIPTION:The SEGRA Foundation intends to continually improve and deliver its best by raising the bar every year with its National event. In 2024 attendees will be experiencing the Busselton\, Bunbury and Margaret River region through multiple formats and not all in one spot! We will be walking the city\, out on the road\, meeting the leaders from the region and experiencing how they have contributed to sustainable regional development. \nWhen we are all together the Foundation will host a series of short yet impactful SEGTALKS on Arts and Culture / Regional Development / Technology / Climate and Risk / Carbon and Environment / Water / Closing the Gap / Community and Livability at various venues in the Busselton CBD and surrounding area. \nThis years Summit is hosted by Regional Development Australia South West and supported by the City of Busselton. The Summit provides a unique opportunity for all sections of the Australian community\, rural and urban\, to explore the key issues affecting regional\, rural and remote Australia and be part of providing positive sustainable outcomes to ensure future prosperity. \nAn event schedule is available here to help you plan logistics and accommodation\, as well as a map of the venues being used. \nA two day pass is the best way to experience the Summit and it includes: \n\nWelcome Networking Drinks on Tuesday 29 October @ Busselton Taphouse\, commencing at 5.30pm\,\nDay one @ Sabina River Farm including breakfast\, morning tea and lunch\nChoose from six off site tours on Wednesday 30 October\,\nNetworking dinner on Wednesday 30 October\,\nDay two at various venues in Busselton CBD and sundowner drinks\,\nBus transfers for all Summit events off site.\n\nThe Foundation will also host a guest speaker for breakfast at The Goose on Thursday 31 October. Tickets are limited to this event and should be purchased additionally through this platform. We will announce our guest speaker shortly. \nTwo-day ticket holders and Wednesday ticket holders can choose from 6 tours on Wednesday 30 October. All transfers are included from our main venue at lunchtime on Wednesday and at the end of the tour we will finish at the Networking Dinner\, with buses returning to the Busselton CBD by 8.30pm.
