DESCRIPTION:Delivered by Sir Colin Birss – Chancellor of the High Court of England and Wales \nThe legal landscape is changing before our eyes. The advent of AI and digital assets\, the internationalisation of dispute resolution\, and the changing expectations of users\, all pose challenges\, and intellectual property has always raised issues of its own. \nThis lecture will examine the state of IP litigation today in the wider context\, consider where it needs to be in the future\, and look at how we need to adapt to meet the challenges.\nThe topics include the major legal problems in IP which will need to be addressed; the legal and practical impact of artificial intelligence; the importance of digital assets and tokenisation; and the emergence of alternative modes of resolving dispute resolution. \nTuesday 25 August – 8pm (livestream)
