DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a panel discussion followed by drinks and light refreshments to celebrate the official launch of the Australian Clinical Entrepreneur Program (AUSCEP)\, a new program designed to develop the entrepreneurial skills and networks of Australia’s clinicians and allied health professionals to accelerate clinician-led innovation in Australian healthcare. \n​​This launch will be held concurrently with events in Victoria and New South Wales in order to welcome the first national AUSCEP program cohort from across the country\, celebrating with clinical colleagues\, industry partners and key government stakeholders from each state.​ \n​The panel in Perth will be chaired by Dr Tracey Wilkinson\, MTPConnect Director Stakeholder Engagement WA of the WA Life Sciences Innovation Hub. \n​The panellists will be: \n​Angela Kelly PSM\, Deputy Director General\, WA Department of Health; Member of the AUSCEP Advisory Board \n​Professor Fiona Wood AM\, Director\, Burns Service of WA; Director UWA Burns Injury Research Unit; AUSCEP Clinical Ambassador \n​Professor Kevin Pfleger\, Director Biomedical and Health Innovation at UWA and the WA Life Sciences Innovation Hub; AUSCEP Executive Sponsor \n​Vishaal Kishore\, Chief Strategy Officer\, Deputy CEO and Co-Founder of MedTech Actuator; AUSCEP Partner \n​ \n​This event will be held in McCusker Auditorium\, Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research\, QEII Medical Centre\, 6 Verdun Street\, Nedlands\, WA 6009 \n  \n
