A focus for the UWA Data Institute this year has been turning conversations with industry into opportunities for collaboration and impact.

Their Industry Innovation Challenges grew from exactly that. Following a showcase of UWA research across a range of disciplines, WA Chief Scientist Professor Sharath Sriram proposed a challenge to think about “what now, what’s next?” That conversation helped spark the Industry Innovation Challenges, which was launched to industry at the beginning of the year.
