NIM Industry Insights Series – Electrifying Asia’s Hard-to-Abate Industries: Clean Power for a Competitive Net-Zero Future​

This joint webinar by the Net-Zero Industries Mission and the Green Powered Future Mission, taking place on 16 June at 10:00 CEST / 16:00 China Standard Time (UTC+8), will explore how industrial electrification can accelerate the transition towards near-zero industrial production.​

The session will focus on the role of clean electricity, power system flexibility, industrial heat electrification and enabling infrastructure in replacing fossil-based industrial processes. Particular attention will be given to the conditions required to scale electrification across Asian industries, including affordable renewable power, grid readiness, investment frameworks and supportive policy environments.​

Bringing together international experts, industry representatives and regional perspectives, the webinar will highlight practical pathways for linking industrial decarbonisation with the transformation of future energy systems.​
