Early Stage Investing Workshop

21 July @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm AWST

What if part of your investment portfolio could help build and support the next generation of innovative businesses?

Angel investing gives everyday investors the opportunity to back ambitious founders solving real-world problems while diversifying beyond traditional asset classes.

Join South West Angels for an engaging online session covering:

• What angel investing is and where it sits in the investment spectrum
• The risks and rewards of angel investing
• How to create your personal investment thesis
• Practical pathways to get involved

About the presenter: Greg Riebe has over 20 years of experience working with corporates, startups and scaleups, being an active angel investor, along with being a startup founder himself and sitting on multiple boards. Steph Kirchhofer has experience in helping large institutions invest and understand investment products through to showing startup founders how to get investment ready, and working with investors to understand the early stage investing landscape and how it works. Greg and Steph both work actively to bring angel investors and innovative start up and scale up businesses together to grow the innovation and investment ecosystem in WA and across Australia.

This workshop program is made possible by Meshpoints, powered by Spacecubed, an initiative designed to build a stronger culture of entrepreneurship and innovation in WA. And by the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification’s Innovation Pathways Program through the New Industries and Innovation Fund.
