DEADLINE: PhD International Mobility Grants

Support is available for Australian PhD candidates and early- and mid-career researchers to build research links with partners in the United States, Scotland, France and Europe.

Applications close 11.59pm (AEST) Wednesday,16 September 2026.

Open programs:

• The Australia-USA Mobility Fund supports emerging Australian health researchers to host senior US researchers for focused visits that strengthen expertise and collaboration.
• The Australian Academy of Science (the Academy) and the Royal Society of Edinburgh (the RSE) jointly deliver the Australia-Scotland Fund (the fund), which provides annual grants for bilateral research visits between Australia and Scotland.
• France and Europe EMCR Mobility Grants support Australian researchers to travel to France and other European countries to work with leading researchers at major science and technology organisations for between 14 and 28 days.
