DEADLINE: AMTECH: Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Hub Anchor Tenant [RFP]
The WA Government has committed $55 million as part of the Made in WA program to establish an advanced manufacturing facility in Picton to support the State’s energy transition and economic diversification. A Request for Proposal (RFP) is now open for an anchor tenant, with the WA Government inviting businesses and organisations to submit their proposals via the TendersWA website.
The establishment of an anchor tenant at the AMTECH precinct will accelerate further long-term benefits for the region, including new jobs and opportunities for local businesses.
The facility is expected to strengthen local manufacturing capability, increase regional participation in clean energy projects, and create new employment opportunities.
The AMTECH anchor tenancy selection process is coordinated by the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification with construction overseen by DevelopmentWA.
The Request for Proposal (RFP) has now been extended to 5pm AWST, 7 October 2026. Login to the Tenders WA website to download the RFP documents and to apply.
