Day. \nPride in Diversity are specialists in HR\, organisational change and workplace diversity dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ people by reducing exclusion\, invisibility\, homophobia and stigma in the workplace. \nResearch has shown that a disproportionate number of LGBTQIA+ Australians experience poorer mental health outcomes and have higher risk of suicidal behaviours than their peers. These health outcomes are directly related to experiences of stigma\, prejudice\, discrimination and abuse on the basis of being LGBTIQ+. \nJoin us for an educational and thought-provoking discussion on how we can all improve our workplace culture\, policies\, and initiatives to support our LGBTQIA+ community. \nThis event is supported by our venue sponsor Visagio Australia. He is a Board Member of several not-for-profit and charitable multicultural organisations\, incoming President of Global Nurses and Midwives Rotary Club\, and current President of Pride in Peel Inc. \nRudson is an advocate primarily towards inclusion/diversity and healthcare delivery. Currently\, under Pride in Peel together with his team\, they are aiming for the Mental Health of the Pride Community through the collaboration of other organizations. Internationally\, he is spearheading projects such as Solar Cases to Regional areas of the globe and Dengue Fever eradication to developing countries. \nChloe Rattray – Queer Disability Activist and Researcher \nChloe (she/they) is a passionate inclusion activist and PhD student whose work is grounded in lived experience and academic research. Chloe works as an Inclusion & Diversity Specialist\, leading improvement initiatives so people feel safe to bring their whole selves to work. In this role\, Chloe drives change to ensure people with disability can thrive in an inclusive and accessible workplace. \nChloe is currently studying for her PhD and is researching the politics of queer and disabled representation in her favourite medium: children’s animation. Chloe also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Humanities\, receiving a High First Class Honours for her thesis on the representation of gender and disability in Australian documentary television.
