SUMMARY:Space Situational Awareness for a Sustainable Future in Space
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our inaugural Space Situational Awareness (SSA) event\, bringing together industry and academia with the theme of Sustainability \n\n\n\n\nThe Australian Space Data Analysis Facility\, in partnership with the Pawsey Supercomputing Centre\, are hosting a Two Day event highlighting diverse perspectives. \nDay One – Curtin Perth Campus\, 137 St Georges Tce\, Perth CBD \n08:30 – 1630 \nDay Two – Pawsey Supercomputing Centre\, 1 Bryce Ave\, Kensington \n08:30 – 1700 (includes a facility tour and sundowner on the deck) \nSpeakers featured over the two days will include: \nProf Melanie Johnston-Hollitt\, Director ASDAF and Director Curtin Institute for Computation\, Curtin University \nProf Deen Sanders OAM\, Partner\, Deloitte Access Economics \nProf Tat-Jun (“TJ”) Chin\, Professorial Chair of Sentient Satellies\, University of Adelaide \nDr Darren McKnight\, Senior Technical Fellow\, LeoLabs \nMark Stickells\, Executive Director\, Pawsey Supercomputing Centre \nProf Steven Tingay\, Executive Director Curtin Institute of Radio Astronomy (CIRA)\, Curtin University \nWe look forward to seeing you there. Please note there is the option to attend both or either days – please select the appropriate ticket registration so we can cater accordingly. \nFood and refreshments will be provided during the event\, with dietary requirements taken into consideration. \nProgram overview and speaker details\, as well as the full list of speakers\, to be announced shortly – stay tuned! \n\n\n\n\nWhile admission to the event is free\, registration is mandatory and spaces are limited. \nPlease be aware that people who register for ASDAF events and then do not attend (without cancellation or notification) will not be prioritised to attend future ASDAF events. \nThis event follows Curtin University’s principles of Respect Now Always.
