DESCRIPTION:Concept to Reality (C2R) – ‘Bridging the Valley of Death’ – Transitioning Innovative Healthcare & Medical Device products into manufacturing \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInnovating products is the lifeblood of any organisation but\, what happens when concepts need to transition into manufacturing or ‘into reality’? \nPeople often mention the Valley of Death\, relating to the numerous innovations that fail to bridge this gap to the next phase of production. \nThe WA Life Sciences Innovation Hub and Bosch are excited to bring you this dynamic discussion to share the experiences & the fears of transitioning innovations into reality and how Bosch Australia Manufacturing Solutions (BAMS) have supported businesses in this sector to: \n\nReduce risk.\nEliminate downstream error.\nLimit unnecessary unplanned costs.\nPlan better.\nMake the decision to invest easier.\nVisual what production could look like.\nOptimise product designs for ease of manufacture.\nOffer manufacturing resource and know-how.\n\nBosch are known for successfully launching innovative products so\, this workshop will provide insights to the systems & tools that BAMS employ that provide clients with a greater confidence when they are ready to scale up. \nWho should attend \nIf you are employed within a Healthcare/MedTech incubator\, start-up or\, as an existing business\, who wish to transition innovations into manufacturing\, then this will be an ideal event for you. \nIt is aimed for those who are planning their manufacturing strategies and need some reassurances around the decisions and investments that are to be made.
