DESCRIPTION:The Park is a virtual innovation hub led by the Australian Sports Commission (ASC)\, designed to connect technology-driven companies with the Australian sports sector to tackle key challenges and unlock system-wide value. \nThe initiative will focus on five foundational challenges: \n\nHarnessing Data\, AI and Machine Learning – advancing governance\, tools\, and integration to generate meaningful value across the sector.\nNext-Generation Wearables – enabling real-time monitoring of human performance and delivering actionable insights.\nDigital Twin Technologies – developing simulations to enhance decision-making\, strategy\, and performance outcomes.\nBrain Performance Innovation – supporting ethical approaches to performance\, assessment\, treatment and Return to Play (RTP) protocols.\nEnvironmental Sustainability in Sport – driving innovation that reduces the sector’s environmental impact.\n\nThrough a six-month co-designed program\, The Park will bring together selected technology firms\, NSO/Ds\, and the ASC to accelerate solutions from Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4 to TRL 8+. Upon completion\, the ASC and participating NSO/Ds may pursue further collaboration\, procurement\, and deployment of proven technologies at scale.
