DESCRIPTION:The Workplace Relations Usability Challenge will provide $2.5 million to drive the development and uptake of technology solutions to support engagement with modern awards over a two stage process.\n\n\n\nWhat do you get?\nGrants up to $100\,000 for your feasibility study. If your feasibility study is successful\, you may receive up to $1 million to develop your proof of concept. \nWho is this for?\nSmall to medium enterprises. \n\n\n\n\nOverview\n\nThe Australian Government is seeking innovative technology solutions to support engagement with modern awards. This grant opportunity will focus specifically on making it easier for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to find\, navigate\, and utilise modern awards. \nAs part of this challenge grantees are required to utilise the Fair Work Commission’s Modern Award Pay Database (MAPD) to ensure up-to-date information on modern awards minimum rates of pay\, allowances\, overtime and penalty rates data is integrated in the final solution. The Fair Work Commission has released an application programming interface (API) that grantees could consider using in their design solution. Grantees must use the MAPD\, but they may also use data from other sources. DESCRIPTION:Grants to improve safety and accessibility of remote airstrips\n\nThe Remote Airstrip Upgrade Program provides funding to improve aerodromes in remote areas of Australia. The aim is to provide year-round all-weather access and improve delivery of essential goods and services.\n\n\n\n\nWhat do you get?\nGrants of up to $3 million to enhance aerodrome safety and accessibility. \nWho is this for?\nOwners and operators of aerodromes in remote or very remote areas of Australia. \n\n\n\n\nOverview\n\nThe Remote Airstrip Upgrade Program provides grants to enhance the safety and accessibility of aerodromes in remote and very remote areas of Australia. It will provide year-round all-weather access\, particularly where road access is unavailable or unreliable. This will: \n\nimprove the safety of aircraft\, operators and passengers using remote and very remote airstrips\nfacilitate improved delivery of essential goods and services such as food supplies\, health care\, community mail and passenger air services\ncomplement air services delivery to communities subsidised under the Australian Government’s Remote Aviation Access Program (RAAP) through the Remote Air Services Subsidy (RASS) Scheme\nmeet operational requirements of the RFDS or operators providing similar aeromedical services\n\nThe maximum grant amount is $3\,000\,000. \nThe grant will be up to 50% of eligible project costs\, unless: \n\nwhere the applicant (you) and a third party (could include State/Territory or local government\, or other entity are both contributing to eligible project costs\, the grant amount will be up to 33.3% of eligible project costs or\nwhere the applicant (you) meets the definition in these Guidelines as an Indigenous Owned and/or Operated Aerodrome\, the grant will be up to 100% of eligible project cost.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCheck if you can apply\n\nYou can apply if you meet the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria are a set of rules that describe who we can consider for this grant. You can apply if you: \n\nare an eligible entity\nhave eligible project activities.\n\nThe rules are in the grant opportunity guidelines.
