SUMMARY:LearnTech Conference & Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:In 2026\, LearnTech will focus on the technologies\, tools and learning environments reshaping how educators teach and how students learn. From smart classrooms\, digital laboratories and simulation technologies to robotics\, coding and AI-powered learning platforms\, the conference will showcase the innovations driving modern education across schools\, TAFEs and training providers.\nA key focus will be the future of education and workforce readiness. As industries continue to evolve\, educators are being challenged to equip learners with the skills needed for careers in automation\, advanced manufacturing\, digital engineering\, renewable energy\, robotics and artificial intelligence. LearnTech will explore how education and industry are working together to meet this challenge. \nWA’s Chief Scientist and leading educators will explore the innovations transforming education & training\, from AI and immersive technologies to the smart learning environments preparing students for the future. Discover how to build your own AI instructor\, use AI as a research and lab partner\, foster creativity in STEM\, and identify\, prevent\, and respond to cyber threats. \nForeword from Professor Sharath Sriram | Chief Scientist WA\n \nWestern Australia is entering one of the most significant periods of transformation in rapidly evolving fields\, including automation\, digital engineering\, renewable energy\, robotics\, and artificial intelligence. To prepare our future workforce\, it is essential that our approach to education and training remains innovative\, adaptive\, and deeply connected to real-world practice.  \nThe 2026 LearnTech Conference\, hosted by IDC Technologies in Western Australia\, plays an important role in this mission. Since its inception\, LearnTech has brought together educators\, technologists\, researchers\, and industry leaders to explore the evolving learning environments shaping the future of STEM education. Events like this strengthen the bridge between emerging technologies and the classrooms\, laboratories\, and training centres where tomorrow’s scientists\, engineers\, and innovators are formed.   \nI commend LearnTech for its commitment to showcasing practical\, hands-on approaches to STEM learning which inspire curiosity\, build capability\, and equip students with the skills needed to thrive in a technology‑driven world. This aligns strongly with the State’s priorities to attract and nurture talent\, foster innovation\, and promote Western Australia as a leader in science and technology nationally and internationally.   \nI am pleased to endorse the LearnTech Conference and encourage educators\, training providers\, policymakers\, and industry partners to participate. By working together\, we can ensure Western Australia continues to lead in developing the scientific and technological capabilities that will drive our future prosperity. \nLearn more and register here
