DESCRIPTION:These online workshops will introduce emerging industry producers to using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) to analyse and plan business development. The BMC supports farmers to focus on marketplace strategy\, production efficiency and managing money. \nParticipants leave with a useable ‘plan on a page’ for their business. \nPrevious emerging industry BMC participants have described what they learned: \n\nIt really did open my eyes to the business of farming in ways I hadn’t thought of.\nHow to plan for distribution of my product.\nDeeper understanding of the value of the product that the target customer segment is looking for.\nI learned the correct pricing for our target market.\n\nDates (we encourage you to do both sessions\, but welcome participants in just one or other session): \n\nSession 1 – BMC and marketplace – Friday\, 25 October\, 9am-1pm on Teams\nSession 2 – production and money – Friday\, 8 November 9am-1pm on Teams
