This session will primarily focus on the Artificial Intelligence issues covered in the Interim Report, with a particular focus on the Productivity Commission’s request for feedback on a high profile and controversial topic, the issue of copyright materials being used to train AI models.

- Machine Learning & the Copyright Act – should text & data mining (TDM) be made an exception to copyright infringement?
- Overview of other issues in the Interim Report – Data Access, Privacy Regulation, Digital Financial Reporting
- Submission process (deadline for submissions is 15 September 2025).
