Solar Sunshot Program (ARENA) Information Session

The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) has opened the first round of the Solar Sunshot program to support innovation in Australia’s solar photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing industry.

Two Funding Rounds (Round 1A and Round 1B) are now open with a total of $550 million available.

Round 1A aims to support solar PV manufacturing innovation with a focus on modules, inputs to modules and deployment systems. Round 1B will provide funding for solar PV manufacturing studies.

ARENA will deliver the Solar Sunshot program and has co-developed the Program Guidelines with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) after extensive consultation with industry and other stakeholders.
