A Request for Proposal (RFP) is now open for an anchor tenant\, with the WA Government inviting businesses and organisations to submit their proposals via the TendersWA website. \nThe establishment of an anchor tenant at the AMTECH precinct will accelerate further long-term benefits for the region\, including new jobs and opportunities for local businesses. \nThe facility is expected to strengthen local manufacturing capability\, increase regional participation in clean energy projects\, and create new employment opportunities. \nThe AMTECH anchor tenancy selection process is coordinated by the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification with construction overseen by DevelopmentWA. \nThe Request for Proposal (RFP) has now been extended to 5pm AWST\, 7 October 2026.
