SUMMARY:DEADLINE: AgriFutures People & Capability Program
DESCRIPTION:The People and Capability Program offers grants for industry and providers to design and deliver tailored programs that address the challenges and opportunities identified in the Workforce Strategy\, supporting AgriFutures Industries. \nThis round introduces an expanded\, three-stream approach\, bringing together industry-specific investment for AgriFutures Industries with a new cross-sector stream focused on shared challenges and opportunities across Australian agriculture. \nThe program supports practical initiatives that build workforce capability\, strengthen leadership and help industries attract\, develop and retain the people they need for a productive and resilient future. Three funding streams are available: \nIndustry Workforce Program Grants: up to $25\,000 For new or existing initiatives tailored to the workforce and capability needs of a specific AgriFutures Industry. Projects may address workforce attraction and retention\, skills development\, training pathways\, leadership\, technology adoption or succession planning.\nCapacity Building Grants: up to $10\,000 for industry associations to nominate individuals or groups to participate in leadership development\, governance\, skills training and other capability-building opportunities that benefit an AgriFutures industry.\nCross-Sector People & Capability Program Grants: up to $40\,000 for practical initiatives that address a capability need relevant to multiple agricultural industries or the broader agricultural sector. Projects must focus on one or more of the following areas: \n\nFood security\nAI and digital transformation\nWorkforce diversity\nWorkplace safety.\n\nThe new cross-sector stream recognises that\, while every industry has distinct workforce needs\, many of the challenges and opportunities facing agriculture require a coordinated response.
