You will also hear from international medtech accelerators as well as WA based capabilities and opportunities in the medtech and digital health space\, with the opportunity to network with our local and international guests. \n\nThis event is held by the Biomedical Engineering Innovation\, Design\, and Entrepreneurship Alliance (BME IDEA)\, a group that focuses on promoting best practice in medtech innovation education and incubation. Biodesign Australia will be hosting the BME IDEA APAC 2022 conference in Perth\, Western Australia\, in collaboration with Taipei Medical University Biodesign.

DESCRIPTION:The WAVES grant program will provide $900\,000 to attract investment in WA-owned and run early stage ventures. \nThe competitive co-investment grant program will provide up to 3 selected venture funds with a maximum of $100\,000 each\, every year for 3 years. \nWAVES is designed to support: \n\nventure funds established in WA for the first time\, and/or\nexisting funds in other Australian states that physically locate an employee in WA for the first time.\n\nManaged Investment Schemes and other funding forms may also apply. DESCRIPTION:The Innovation Fellowships 2022-23 Program seeks to build human capability in health and medical related innovation and to increase the innovation capacity of Western Australia (WA). \n  \nThe program is designed to encourage talented Western Australians to enhance their innovation knowledge\, skills and experience\, in conjunction with their nominated experts who will supervise and mentor them. \n  \nFunding up to $150\,000 per Fellowship will be awarded on a competitive and merit-based process. The total time dedicated to the Fellowship activity must be 6 months and may be completed full-time or a combination of full-time and part-time\, within a maximum period of 12 months. \n  \nPlease note that eligibility criteria have been changed for the residency status of applicants. In addition to Australian Citizens or permanent residents in Australia\, applicants who are New Zealand citizens or have appropriate work visas in place are also eligible to apply. He is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. He also received a National Dux award from the Tax Institute of Australia in 2011. In addition to being a CPA and CTA\, he also holds a Masters of Taxation from the UNSW. \nPeter provides tax advice to business owners and other professionals on a wide range of taxation matters. His area of specialty includes Small Business tax concessions\, capital gains tax\, business structuring and restructuring\, Division 7A and taxation of trusts.
