SUMMARY:From Founder-Led Sales to Scale: Build a go-to-market engine that works
DESCRIPTION:Founder-led sales is often the engine behind early startup success. Founders know the customer better than anyone\, making them the best people to tell the story\, navigate objections and close deals. But as businesses grow\, what once drove success can quickly become a bottleneck.\nThe challenge isn’t simply hiring more salespeople. It’s building the systems\, structure and operating rhythm that allow revenue to scale without the founder being involved in every deal. \nJoin Ben Sharp (KPMG High Growth Ventures)\, Joshua Nu’u-Steele (Co-Founder & CRO\, Ideally) and Jared Kristensen (Founder\, Audience Republic) as they share firsthand lessons from building and scaling high-growth businesses. Together\, they’ll unpack what it takes to move from founder-led sales to a scalable\, repeatable go-to-market function\, including the common mistakes\, key inflection points and practical strategies that drive sustainable growth. \nWhether you’re hiring your first sales leader\, building GTM capability\, or looking to reduce founder dependency\, this session will provide practical insights you can apply immediately. \nYou’ll learn: \n\n\nHow to recognise when you’ve outgrown founder-led sales \n\n\nThe foundations required for a scalable GTM function \n\n\nWhen and how to hire sales leadership \n\n\nThe systems\, processes and operating cadence that support growth \n\n\nWhy most GTM challenges are structural\, not people problems

SUMMARY:CSIRO x BHP - Measuring Nature Outcomes 2026
DESCRIPTION:Unlocking valuable global data for monitoring practices associated with responsible land management \nOver the past decade awareness has grown that organisations must better understand\, manage and report their interactions with nature. While significant progress has been made in developing nature-related reporting frameworks and standards\, a persistent challenge remains: how can organisations use readily available\, open access nature-related data to evaluate outcomes of land management activities in a transparent\, consistent and robust manner? CSIRO and BHP invite you to attend an upcoming webinar exploring our development of a practical and transparent approach to addressing this challenge. \nThe webinar will showcase recent research conducted by CSIRO in collaboration with BHP to advance natural capital measurement\, management and reporting through the development of practical methods. These methods can be applied consistently across industries\, ecosystems and geographies.\nParticipants will hear how the project team have systematically reviewed readily available\, open access global data to assess its use for nature related monitoring and have worked to: \n\ndevelop benchmarks for over 60 variables relevant to terrestrial ecosystem functional groups globally\, providing 2020 baselines for ongoing assessment and monitoring\,\nmap how these variables relate to ecosystem condition typology recommended by SEEA EA\,\ndevelop a Quality Hectare (Qha) index to support the monitoring and assessment of responsible land management practices across geographies and jurisdictions\, and\nrecommend future directions to support broader uptake by industry.\n\nThe webinar is intended to support industry\, regulators\, environmental bodies and the finance sector. It will explore how organisations can use readily available environmental datasets to support the tracking of stewardship outcomes over time in a transparent and globally consistent manner.

Outside of work\, crochet is one of her creative outlets and she’ll be running a relaxed beginner session where you can learn the basics\, make your own coaster and have a chat while you’re at it. \nThen\, wrap things up with Founders Pizza where you’ll have the chance to meet other people building things in Perth whilst enjoying a slice of pizza. Come for one session or spend the day with us taking advantage of free access to the coworking space from 9am-7pm. \nBloom Crawley | 2 Park Road Crawley | Open from 9am – 7pm I 27 August
