DESCRIPTION:The Future Health Research and Innovation (FHRI) Fund Enabling Scheme aims to increase the scale and excellence of health and medical research and innovation in WA by supporting accessible local infrastructure. \nThe FHRI Fund Enabling Scheme will provide support for capital costs associated with undertaking health and medical research and/or innovation in Western Australia. \nUp to 50 per cent co-funding will be made available for upgrades to laboratories and facilities used for research and/or innovation activities\, to provide greater sector access or better support national or international partnerships. \nThis scheme also allows funding for major equipment and health technologies upgrades or replacements that will increase a facility’s industry offering. \nThe Enabling Scheme is open to organisations that undertake health and medical research and/or innovation that have a presence in Western Australia. Funding will be awarded through a competitive and merit-based process.
