SUMMARY:The Power of Journey Mapping
DESCRIPTION:Discover the transformative potential of journey mapping in our upcoming event\, where we explore its profound ability to capture the lived experiences of individuals navigating complex social systems to access essential support. \nJourney mapping combines compelling storytelling with a structured approach for identifying key touchpoints\, barriers\, and pivotal moments in the journey towards finding supports and services. \nDrawing on a collaboration between Innovation Unit and Kiind\, who support families of individuals with disability or chronic health conditions\, we’ll showcase how journey mapping can uncover the cracks in the current state and highlight the changes needed in our systems. \nYou’ll have a ‘behind-the-scenes’ opportunity to explore a real-world journey mapping project from start to finish\, from journey maps produced in real time during lived experience interviews through to our large-format synthesised map and our portable tabletop version. You’ll hear the story of how our journey mapping approach unlocked key insights to inform systemic advocacy – and how mapping their journeys proved to be a moving intervention for parents and carers in its own right. \nSecure your spot today to be part of this exciting conversation. We look forward to welcoming you!
