These signals are unprotected\, unverified\, and easily disrupted by interference\, cyberattack\, or space weather. As digital transformation accelerates and systems become more autonomous and interconnected\, the consequences of a PNT failure multiply risking blackouts\, communication loss\, navigation failures\, and financial disruption. \nThe SHIELD CRC can change this: Together we can build a sovereign\, resilient\, and secure PNT ecosystem for Australia – one that detects threats\, withstands interference\, and recovers quickly so that business continuity\, public safety and economic stability are not left vulnerable to forces beyond our control. \nThe outputs of the CRC will improve productivity and business continuity\, simulate new industry growth and strengthen sovereignty national security. \n
