SUMMARY:Supercharge your Startup
DESCRIPTION:Details\n\n\nEntrepreneurship is not always a smooth path\, and setbacks and failures are an inevitable part of the journey. But what separates successful entrepreneurs from the rest is their ability to fail forward – to learn from setbacks and use those lessons to grow and thrive. As Henry Ford once said ‘The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.’ \nIn this talk\, we will explore practical strategies for overcoming adversity and turning failures into opportunities. By tapping into elements of an entrepreneurial mindset\, we’ll look at some coaching techniques to help you stay energised. Finally\, drawing on real-life examples and insights from experienced entrepreneurs\, you will learn how to build resilience\, embrace failure\, and use setbacks as a stepping stone to success. \nWhether you’re a seasoned founder or just starting out\, this talk will equip you with the tools and mindset you need to navigate the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. \nLive stream \nThis event will also be live streamed for the regions courtesy of the New Industries Fund from the Department of Jobs\, Tourism\, Science and Innovation! \nWhen the time comes\, you can watch the live stream here:\nhttps://perthvideo.com.au/morning-startup-perth/ \nNote – You do NOT need to RSVP to this meetup to watch the live stream. Only click “I’m going” if you’re attending in person. \nIf you’re in Perth\, it’s always better to attend in person as that’s where the magic of Morning Startup happens! Come and network with other startup folks – you never know who you’ll meet! See you there!

SUMMARY:DEADLINE: Plus Eight Accelerator Program Application
DESCRIPTION:Our accelerator program is designed for local startups who are ready to scale on a domestic and global level\, fast. Since launching in 2017\, the program has invested over $2M in startups\, and facilitated an additional $16M in follow-on investment and has a portfolio valued at $106M. \nWhile 2023 is set to be bigger than ever\, it will run in the same phased approach\, with three stages for startups to prove they’re the best in the state. Startups selected following an intense application process will join a weekend bootcamp where they will hustle their way into Phase 1 of the program. \nFollowing this\, and after a rigorous Phase 2 pitching process\, the final cohort selected will travel to London for an international immersion trip where they’ll get to meet and create connections with international VC’s and investors\, learn from successful international startups and scaleups\, and explore international funding options. The program will conclude with the cohort pitching at Demo Night\, scheduled as part of West Tech Fest in December. \nFor startups that are accepted\, our accelerator program can be a game-changer\, helping them to rapidly scale their business and achieve their goals. \nThis year\, we’re also excited to welcome onboard new partner\, Adapt by Design who will be joining Woodside Energy\, RAC’s BetterLabs\, Capricorn Society\, Vici Ventures\, Hawaiian\, Jackson McDonald and DFK Gooding Partners in supporting the 2023 program. \nApply HERE
