The discussion will shed light on the challenges and opportunities related to securing capital as a female founder, the importance of building impactful partnerships and the crucial role of mentorship in accelerating female led ventures.
⭐Mei Yong: Founder and Chief Executive Officer of My PlantCo⭐
My PlantCo is a plant-based WA company focused on creating products that are loved by people and planet. Mei has been involved in the launch and evolution of each of My PlantCo’s three distinct brands – Real Oats, Kado and Turban Chopsticks.
Additionally, Mei holds a number of roles including as an Advisory Member of Curtin University’s Molecular & Life Sciences Faculty and Murdoch University’s Launchpad and as a Mentor to WA Female Founders.
⭐Yaxi Zhan: Founding Director of Accelerate Resources ⭐
Yaxi Zhan is a Mining Entrepreneur and founding director of ASX-listed resource exploration company Accelerate Resources (ASX: AX8)
With a proven track record in M&A, capital raising and business strategy, Yaxi led Accelerate Resources from private to publicly listed on the ASX, transformed the organisation from multi-commodity explorer to become lithium focused, and continues to add value to the Company and shareholders.
