Introducing The Health Translation Group Limited (HTG)
This is a new not-for-profit charitable initiative is enabled by the founding support of three
leading Western Australian medical research institutes: Harry Perkins Institute of Medical
Research, Lions Eye Institute and the Perron Institute.

The presentation on the HTG will be led by Liddy McCall and James Williams.
Liddy and James bring a combined 50 years at the interface between commercialisation of
university and Medical Research Institute intellectual property with successful outcomes
resulting in regulatory approvals and launch of multiple drugs and medical devices from WA
research.

The HTG initiative will bring an experienced, collaborative, scalable, open ended and
coordinated approach to improving the translation of WA originated medical research
discoveries.

HTG looks forward to further engaging with the Western Australian and national community
as it progresses the project which will benefit current and future participating health research
organisations through their beneficial ownership of the venture.
