DEADLINE: JTSI Director Pool – Economic Development

The Economic Development Group has two roles available for immediate filling from this pool. This process may be used to fill future similar permanent or fixed-term positions that may arise within JTSI and across the WA public sector in the next 12 months from the conclusion of this process.

The Economic Development Group works across Government to enable a diversified economy through reforming the State’s approvals processes; planning and delivering Strategic Industrial Areas; preventing delays for major projects; and, coordinating and supporting the delivery of infrastructure and investment projects.

Director – Tourism Investment Delivery

To be successful in this role you will be a leader with excellent engagement skills facilitate cross-agency collaboration to support delivery of state significant tourism investment projects. You will have strong experience in the reporting requirements of Executive Government to enable high quality regular whole-of-government progress reports on tourism investment projects. You will lead a team responsible for tourism precinct planning to underpin development, land-use and infrastructure coordination to inform optimal tourism investment decisions of the Western Australian Government.

Director – Strategic Industrial Areas (Delivery)

To be successful in this role you will be a leader with excellent communication skills with a strong ability to collaborate across government and with key stakeholders to lead teams to coordinate land assembly, infrastructure and project proposals to activate Western Australia’s Strategic Industrial Areas.
