The opportunity

AI Advisory Body members will be appointed by and report to the Minister for Industry and Science. There will be up to 10 positions including a Chair, and an additional ex-officio member from the Department. The initial term of membership will be one to two years.

As a member of the AI Advisory Body, you will have the opportunity to directly advise government on AI capability development in Australia, regulatory settings to ensure the safe design, development and deployment of AI systems in high-risk settings and other issues to support the government’s Safe and Responsible AI agenda.
