WA Venture Capital with Derek Gerrard

In 2023, CERI is launching a brand new speaker series that will bring in the leading voices in the Western Australian startup and entrepreneurship ecosystems.
The series will highlight some of the most important subjects and discussions for entrepreneurs at all stages of the startup journey.
To begin the series we welcome Derek Gerrard for a discussion on the landscape of Venture Capital in Western Australia.
Derek is the Co-Founder and Director of Purpose Ventures, which supports and invests in purpose-driven founders.
Derek has also served in a number of roles within the WA startup ecosystem such as Entrepreneur in Residence at RAC as well as at Spacecubed’s Plus Eight program.
We invite you to bring a friend or colleague and following Derek’s talk there will be an opportunity to have some wine & cheese, and meet some new people in both the CERI community and the broader Perth startup ecosystem.
