DESCRIPTION:UWA School of Agriculture and Environment (UWA-SAgE) Soil Science Challenge team warmly invite all interested public members to register to participate in “Principles of soil health & sustaining profitable agricultural production” workshop. \nAbout the workshop \nThe workshop is arranged in three segments addressing the \n1. Economics and public policy implications of Soil health in agriculture \nThis segment will cover the farm productivity and profitability based on maintaining soil health\, potential market incentives and policies\, sustainability\, and farmers/industry perspective. \n2. Soil health management in agriculture \nThis segment will cover the practices\, technology\, innovation\, research\, and development. \n3. UWA–DPIRD soil carbon field trial \nThis segment will cover the context of mixed pastures and soil carbon trial followed by farm visit\, which depends on the interest of participants at that time.
