DESCRIPTION:This will be the second event in a series presented by Innovation Cluster in support of the Workforce Australia Entrepreneurship Facilitator program\, aimed at encouraging more participation in the workforce through Self Employment. \nCome along and listen to Paul Faix’s story – from the Slovak Republic to Perth via Sydney. We will talk about how to create a successful software business in Perth from Startup in 2004\, through a few iterations and ups and downs\, to a very successful product based company with clients across Australia.  Paul is a local Maylands resident living and working in this revitalised and vibrant metropolitan district. \nHe has a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering and Information Management\, an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology\, and a Diploma in Business Management. \nWe will chart his journey both personally and professionally and find out what makes a successful entrepreneur\, the drivers and disciplines necessary\, the lessons learned and what he would do differently second time around. \nThere will be plenty of time for Q&A so bring along your questions and get some free advice and help for your own journey. \nRefreshments will be provided to promote discussion and networking amongst attendees after the formal session concludes.
